Stealth assessment of learning via brainwave monitoring and enhanced learning via biofeedback.learner_metrics.jpg

Measuring whether or not an individual is learning or whether or not a tool enables learning can be done by monitoring the learners brainwaves while in use. Mobile EEG headsets are visualizing the brains functions and being interpreted.

Other ways to assess learning involve looking at markers that occur in products the learner has produced along their journey as opposed to a standardized exam at the end of a course or program. Artifacts can be used to assess learner or, as is the case with games, can be used to enhance learning and simultaneously provide assessment of acquired knowledge.
